Eastside Early Learning is open and we will remain open

Due to the impacts of COVID-19, some businesses and workplaces have sadly been forced to close,  We want to reassure our community that Eastside Early Learning is open and that we will remain open as normal to service our community in accordance with current Government requirements.

Our Families will receive free childcare during Coronavirus pandemic with no out of pocket expenses

From 06/04/2020 to 28/06/2020, all our families will receive free childcare during Coronavirus pandemic, under a plan from the Federal Government that will help deliver hip pocket relief for families during this crisis. Your child can now attend Eastside anytime, Monday to Friday for free. We will prioritise care for our existing families, essential workers, vulnerable and disadvantaged children and previously enrolled children.

If you are an essential worker looking for chidcare, we would love to hear from you.

We are diligent in our health and hygiene practices and continue to clean, sanitise and hand wash thoroughly and regularly throughout the day.

Under Government direction, Eastside Early Learning will continue to operate as normal and service our community.

We are open from 6.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

We will continue to deliver our long day care services and our approved kindergarten programs to families in our community. We will continue to work with Government Authorities and keep our families informed if any changes occur.

If you have any questions or if you wish to discuss your enrolment options, please contact our Manager, Debbie Stephens on 07 3890 0447 or email info@eastsideearlylearning.com.au

We can hold your child's place at Eastside Early Learning at no cost to you

We are happy to hold a place for your child at Eastside Early Learning. We will do this for existing families, new families, essential workers, vulnerable and disadvantaged children and previously enrolled children. This means that you can hold your place, that you don't need to send your child to childcare and that you won't have any out of pocket expenses. We can simply hold a place for your child, at no cost to you, until you are ready for your child to attend childcare with us again.

Parents don't need to withdraw their children from child care. Parents can now also make use of absences and additional absences. In recognition of the impact of COVID-19, for the 2019-20 financial year, families are entitled to 62 allowable absences at no cost to you, rather than the standard 42 allowable absence days.

If you have terminated your enrolment since 17 February, then we encourage you to please get back in contact with us and re-start your arrangements. Re-starting your enrolment will not require you to send your child to child care and it won’t cost you anything. Re-starting your enrolment will, however, hold your place for that point in time when things start to normalise, and you are ready to take your child back to our child care centre.

If you have any questions or if you wish to discuss holding a place for your child at Eastside Early Learning, please contact our Manager, Debbie Stephens on 07 3890 0447 or email info@eastsideearlylearning.com.au
